The snippet was actually filmed back in May and a lot changes in that amount of time but it charters the launch of our iPhone app with a launch party and some familiar faces in the audience. <a href="http://www.lookandtaste.com/">Lookandtaste</a> is still our consumer facing site that teaches people how to cook for free but we now focus a lot of our attention making videos for brands and licensing HD quality videos recipes to agencies and publishers here on Vidvend. The show itself was very good for<a href="http://www.lookandtaste.com/go/iphone/"> iPhone app sales</a> as we have discovered over the last year being on national TV in the UK can really help generate some serious sales and leads. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When I started off cooking I wanted to work in one of the best kitchens in town so I walked into one of the only Michelin Star restaurants in town and asked for a job. The chef, <a href="http://www.conradgallagher.com/pages/home.php">Conrad Gallagher</a> didn&#8217;t do interviews or even accept CVs and instead asked potential chefs to simply fry and egg. His logic was that he could tell just how talented you were by completing such a simple task. Would you season it correctly? Baste the yolk? Remove the grease? etc etc. Luckily I passed that challenge at the time and got a job and many years later we decided to make this video showing people at home how to cook the perfect fried egg.
