VidVend is a video licensing website which allows you to purchase stock video content for commercial use at affordable prices.
Who owns VidVend?
iFoods Limited owns VidVend. iFoods is an Irish registered limited company registered under registration number 441337.
What licenses do VidVend offer?
There are two forms of license on Vidvend, non-exclusive commercial license and exclusive license.
What is a non-exclusive commercial license?
When you buy the non-exclusive commercial license, it enables you to use each individual video for commercial display purposes. The video will be non-exclusive and will therefore remain available for licensing by other VidVend users.
What is an exclusive commercial license?
If you purchase an exclusive commercial license it guarantees that you are the last person to buy this video from us. It means that this video may have been sold before a couple of times but only you and people who bought a non-exclusive commercial license for that video before you will own it. After this kind of purchase the video is being permanently removed from our sales directory and is never available to other customers again. The exclusive commercial license is unlimited and therefore once previous non-exclusive commercial licenses have lapsed (after their 2 years) you and iFoods will be the sole owners of a license to the video. If you would like to know how many non-exclusive licenses have been purchased on particular videos please e-mail the list of videos to licenses@vidvend.com.
Can I resell the video as is?
No, you can not resell the video as is.
Can I customize the video?
Yes, you can customize the video to any extent needed.
Will you help me to customize my video?
We do not provide any help or instructions on video customization. If you are not sure how you can customize the video yourself we recommend you hire an editing studio to customize the video for you.
Can I resell the customized video?
No, you can not resell the customized video as a video but you may sell it within a project to your client.
What comes with the video download?
Once you have purchased the license to a video you will receive a copy of the video file along with a high quality still image for that video and any other accompanying information (in the case of video recipes ingredients lists and step by step text recipes will be provided).
Are there any restrictions for using imagery and text from the videos I purchased?
All imagery and text used in our products are royalty-free and are the integral part of our products. Our licenses give you the right to use images and text, given as a part of the video license.
Can I use graphics or video from the video we purchased for use in printing or video advertising?
Yes, it’s not prohibited to use the video or graphics from the video for printed material or video advertising initiatives.
What levels of quality do you offer for your videos?
We provide all our videos for licensing in both standard definition and high definition.
